Introduction of the Founder and President
Ms. Malky has thirty-two (32) years experience and was instrumental in introducing and passing New Jersey’s Missing Person State Clearing House, as well as in passing of Bill A-2847 in New Jersey (interference with custody pertaining to parental abduction). On behalf of Voice for the Children, Ms. Malky has appeared on nationally televised shows including “Geraldo Rivera”, “Court TV with Johnny Cockran”, “Michael Reagan”, and has spoken on numerous radio shows in Florida, New York, and California. She further participates in the Florida Missing Children’s Day and the National Missing Children’s Day in Washington, D.C. In August and November, 2001, Ms. Malky’s story was featured on “Unsolved Mysteries”. Ms. Malky received an award from the State of Florida as “Citizen of the Year” for her work with missing and exploited children.
Mission and Goals
The primary focus and mission of the Voice for the Children is the recovery of parentally abducted children nationally and internationally. Voice for the Children lends individual services to the custodial parent whose child has been abducted and to the child upon return (through referral to trained psychological / therapists specializing in family matters.) In keeping with the Mission Statement, the Voice for the Children, provides these services: · Offers consultation and support to custodial parents whose children have been parentally abducted or abducted by a stranger. Community services, i.e. seminars, TV, radio and other print media to educate and increase the awareness of this rising national crisis to the public. · A telephone hot-line and website access for parents of, and for children that are runaways, sexually abused, physically abused, exploited or abducted/kidnapped children.
